1.) right, a NON illuminated button only has 2 pins, and its just in and out (ignore the ground for non illumintated.
2.) Yea, you will need to splice into the orange wire, and also splice again to connect to the switch "in". (If you have the non illuminated switch there is no "in" or "out" either one works.)
3.) the orange wire is an accessory wire, meaning it runs all the accessories when in the "run" position.
here is the connector I am referring to, you can see the large red and yellow wires to the left. the large yellow one is the starter wire. The large orange one to the upper right is the accessory wire.
I did the ignition saver mod, so you can see my relay in this picture. You can see that where the wire connector is, there is the glue sticking out. Its dry, it dries in a few minutes. great connectors though!
