Does anyone use this when it comes time to change their GP's plugs?

That's the manufacturer's web site I linked to. You can find it on-line for less.

No. I'm an old timer. I don't turn motor forward.

i didn't move the motor forward either. i just stuck my big hands back there and work mostly by touch and feel i guess you could say. on the #6 plug though, i put the socket on the plug and then took a wrench and turned the socket to get it loose. something was in my way. i'm thinking it was the o2 sensor.

to move the motor forward though, just disconnect the bolts from the mounts or dogbones and you can pull the motor forward and put one of the bolts back in the mount that has the extra hole in it to keep the engine in pulled forward position.

Hello,

It is so easy to rock the engine, don't waste your money.
If you change your plugs on a regular basis, you will get a feel for them, and rocking the engine forward is a waste of time. If you don't change your plugs on a regular basis, why buy a special tool that will not save you any time?

Later now,
Clint

Agreed... don't waste your money. Remove your dog bone motor mounts, grab the snout and pull the engine forward. Slide the bolt in on the pass side dog bone mount and it'll hold it secure enough for you to crawl all around the engine.
