Well the title to this forum is pretty general, so I'll post this as a single post. I was on ClubGP but something happened to my membership, and now starting from scratch here. Hope this forum has better database reliability.
I bought my 2002 GTP new. Now, at 60,000 miles, I have a summary of small problems.
1. Winshield washer fluid pump crapped out.
2. Low Coolant level switch failed in the LOW position, meaning I have a constant "low coolant" light ON on my dashboard.
3. Parking Brake light always ON, I'm not entirely sure the cause of this one, probably the switch that detects it has failed in the ON position.
4. Some kind of alignment problem, she bears to the right slightly, even after new tires, new balancing/alignments, new rotors/brakes, I think I had a shoddy brake job done with my last set of rotors.
5. The spring in the rear driver's side door actually broke off, there is proof of rusting, but not heavy rusting. The door now will not stay open.
6. The power lumbar adjustment in the driver's seat is broken.
Also had a seat heater replaced during the warranty period.
To summarize, I think my Pontiac is showing a few more problems than has been expected at this point on the road.
Up until about 50k miles or so, everything was dandy and I was happy I didn't have any problems. Now it seems everything is falling apart at once.
What is your experience with Pontiac at 60k or 5 years of less than average mileage???
Any worse than mine?
