So I finally hit up a DynoJet today. I've been wanting to do this before I go any further modding. Was a PITA some what. First couldn't get the computer to read the rpms correctly. Then having trouble with my buddies Tuner and computer. Finally, first run went ok until WOT downshifted to second. Sort of ruined run that was this and this video:

Then we tried using the Tuner to somewhat lock it in 3rd. Still downshifting. So third and fourth runs we just kept it in 2nd and did some fuel tuning and managed to get 20 whp more by fourth run. Numbers seem low to me, but its a base run and things weren't going that great and decided not to push things and let it just go. So seems like I need some different tuing to get where I think it should be, but nothing broke!!

PS. What is the best way to lock it in 3rd for the dyno run or to keep from dwnshft?
I paid with cash, he only charged me $70, I paid 80 because no change and no taxes and he let us tune so, it was tight. I also spent $130 today at the Stealership for S/C oil, LIM gaskets, s/c gasket, tb gasket, coolant els for the new mod adventure soon.

I aslo bought, from a guy at clubxx, a fuel pump rewire for $30 shipped. From the scans, seemed that my IPWs were down a few, thats nice to see.

that seems about right. i mean, your mods are intake and exhaust work. Time to dive into that valvetrain or get an intercooler!

why not just dyno in second?

The last run he hit like 6300 rpms in second and a bit of black smoke blew out the end. But all is good. I am no lingo junky with the whole tunig and dynoing, so I don't know.

It's where AE kicks in and dumps fuel expecting WOT and high rpms. Plus, he was running richer towards the end of the rpm spectrum: 12.4 and increasing looks like.

What happened to the HP curve? That looks like a kindergarten age kid scribbled a line on a graph! :p

Always expect low dyno numbers. With my 3.8" pulley, IS1 N/A cam, and 3" D/P along with the top swap I dyno'd like 213 whp and 239 wtq

I also would have dyno'd the car in second gear
