I have seen other cars with lights that look just black until they have to use the lights and their lights still work and shine through.
I've seen you can get just lay over stickers like tint that do this. And if that is the only option I'm wondering what percent tint on my lights would look best with my black Grand Prix GT.
Also, what percentage tint would you recommend for rear, side rear and door windows (2 door) for me.

umm i think it's called ventshade... that's how you tint your tails... pfyc.com has the black headlight covers and i think 20% is a good % of tint... but check the local laws and see how dark it is

For tail lights, VHT Nite Shades Look for it in local auto parts stores, as shipping is usually expensive.

ya i bought the VHT niteshades spry tint off ebay for $10 i sprayed 3 coats of it onto my tailights and applied a thin coating of clearcoat. i just put 15% tint all around my car...but for a black one personally id do ne where from 10-15 but like GP GT GUY said check your local laws. i also have the black housing headlights...you can buy the covers but should make sure to take them off at night...

Why would anyone want to make their tail lights and brake lights dimmer with tint? With all the idiot drivers out there who 1. Are terrible drivers 2. Are multi-tasking and driving is probably #2 on their list of importance 3. Are most likely tail gating you because they are running late as always, I want more lights on the rear of my car. As for headlight covers, again, WHY? Everyone installs HIDs, Silverstars and brighter bulbs so they can see better. Unless you have a show car, keep the light covers on the ricers that no one cares if they get run over. There are plenty of darkened headlights on EBAY that still put out max lumens.

Really, the VHT niteshade spray is legal just about everywhere? Even Virginia? They don't let us do much here, lol. How does it work?

It takes less than a minute to remove them and I for one choose to use that minute to improve light output when needed. Thank you for removing then so I can see your rear lights. I honestly almost hit a red Dodge Pickup that had huge tail light covers with small Rams that were cut out. The sun was high in the sky and shining from behind me. I could barely see his lights. I guess I just don't see doing a mod that I need to take off and on all the time, especially since I am a shift worker and on 2nd shift right now.
