Anyone know a good tech for insturment panels? I bought a instrument panel cluster off e-bay except the milage says 75k and I need it to be 105k. The garage was going to charge 250 dollars for it.

can't you maybe just take the plastic off of the front of the panel and move it forward on your own. not sure if it will work or not, but i know when i had the front dash off, there was a bug in the panel and i removed the plastic to get it out and it seemed like you could give it a try.

just a thought, but i imagine that somebody can do that though

iirc the odometers are designed to destroy themselves if you try to move the barrels by hand. So it makes it harder for people to cheat on the mileage.

Look in your phone book for a "Speedometer Shop". :-)

Search around for a shop who can do it. You just might have to pay that 250.

Too bad it's an electrical input otherwise you coulda put a drill on it and turned it on till the numbers became what you wanted. I could just see it now rolling through 999,999 smile
