Ok someone shed some light on this because I don't see anyway possible that he could make his supposed numbers with these mods

04 comp g

Mods:
New custom 3.5" intake (going in this week)
3.2" Pulley
SSAC Headers
ZZP Stage 2 Heads
Phenolic spacers (have them sitting around have to put them in)
1.95 Rocker arms
75 shot of NOS

Supposedly 500hp +

Ya... uhm......... ya.......

Basically I want a rough estimate of around how much hp he could make with these mods.

I say low 300?

Remember chp is 250 or so on the comp g. Add headers, heads, 3.2 and a 75 shot I would guess closer to 400 chp mid 300s at the wheels

To be honest this whole setup sounds bogus,The reason say this why would you not go with a cam if your going to the expense of heads ,anyway however you bake it this setup is not going to make anywere near 500whp ,ask him for the dyno sheet or quit guessing.Chico(pops)

Its not uncommon to list HP with nitrous. Goal is to list the highest possible HP the engine can do.

x2 on low 300s at the wheels w/ the 75 shot. He needs to take into account the drivetrain loss and also see what's done for other 500+. Sounds like he just took 260 + mods (100+) + 75 nitrous (75) + manly screams (65).

I'm sorry, but if I had that much time & money in mods. I would spend the little extra to get it dyno tuned and would have proof.Intelligent people know a poorly tuned engine + NOS = BOOM! Our local dyno charges $120 an hour for dyno time. Add $100 if they tune it using EFI live. 95% of tunes take less that 1 hour.
