All 97-03 cars had the Series II motors. The 04-08 cars got the Series III.

By the way, welcome to the site.

I want to start with exhaust and intake. Maybe not the whole exhaust system but definitely the down pipe.
And suggestions on the cold air intake system would be appreciated.
What are the favorites for both?

Welcome. This forum is great for finding information about the GP

You can either make your own CAI box (directions in FAQ i think) or you can purchase one. I have a Thrasher that the guy threw in when i purchased my wheels from him. It adds a nice look under the hood and it sounds awesome under WOT.

^old pic but you get the idea, the engine mounts are painted now wink
Other favorites include K & N and Wizaird. You could just do a fender well intake which doesnt require making a box. All it requires is some pvc, a filter, and a little time. Search fenderwell intake and im sure you will find a write up on how to make it.

As for the dp, most people will probably say the ZZP. I dont have one, but would really like one.

you are correct...i just ran out to check it out. It is in fact the Wizaired. For some reason I thought it was a Thrasher. Either way, it was free and it serves the same purpose smile
