Alright after some gathering of information and making my list and checking it twice I've decided in the next 2 weeks I will be starting on the adventure of taking on my rust.

I've managed to find an angle grinder that im going to purchase a wire brush for and I am going to get some gell the turns the rust into Iron Phosphate.

I'll get the heavy stuff off with the grinder then use the gell on the other stuff and after that all dries (will take about 24 hours) I'll use this spray on undercoat to cover the whole under body to protect it. I'm also going to take a look at my trunk and under the hood because I did notice some spots in those areas also.

Expect pictures when I get everything going smile

Looking forward to hearing some positive results! I plan to do a POR-15 treatment on my wheel wells when I find some time so I'm definitely interested in how this turns out. Good luck!

If there are any holes you need to get to the backside of the area as well other wise it'll just rust out from behind and you'll be back in the same boat your in now.

The pictures i promised... I'm sure you all know what it looked like before...

Heres the after pics and I do plan on doing another coat since some spots i missed. But I must say that it's a pain when you have the car on ramps and have to slide under and deal with rubber all through your hair and on your arm...

I also did the spare tire compartment since it was pretty rusty. But I didn't bother to take pics.
