has anyone had their ignition switch breakdown? My key won't come out and the initial diagnostic said that I need a new ignition switch. Should I have this done immediately or can I drive with it and a key stuck in the ignition? Any help in this entire fiasco would be great...

If you dont mind leavin the key in the car while shoppin or something, then it can wait. Caution if you take this route: these ignition switches are known to produce their own gremlins.

The fix aint cheap. IIRC, it can only be done at a GM dealership.
