Question... are you putting the headers on, THEN dropping the engine in? Would that work?
Yes, everything is getting cleaned. The inside of the intake manifold, blower and throttle body is horrid. Probably combination of EGR/PCV. Either way, it has to be removed. I don't know if I'll polish the fuel rail, that looks like a big hassle. Maybe clean and a coat of paint?
Already got valve cover gaskets with the cam kit. I've also been looking over the idlers, they seem ok. I might replace them anyways, but first I've got to order some coolant elbows. The piece in the intake forward of the o-ring didn't come out.
