anyone know how to take them off? I need to repaint them. I found these, but I would much rather sand down the pits and get the little rust dots off before putting stickers over them and then if they are off i want to just paint them again.
Screws on the back but they dont seem to even be attached, how do I get them off?

mine are starting to chip as well but the best I can figure is that they are either bonded to the door or a tacked-on piece of sheetmetal...either way not so easily removeable, if at all. I'm leaning towards doing some taping and repainting.

There are carbon fiber overlays available. You can clean off the corrosion paint the bare metal and put the overlay on and hide the imperfections.
