The moment ive been waiting for i can finaly do. now I already have a IS3 blower cam on stock heads. I understand that doing the heads is going to give me huge gains, but i also would really REALLY like to do an intercooler. eather way im going to do ZZP heads or a ZZP intercooler, which is the best bet? right now im leaning twards the heads because of the cam thats in my car.

yea go with the heads because a intercooler is about 1g and you can get methonal injection wich has a better effect than the intercooler and it is only about 300 for a top of the line kit

How's your KR? If it's not an issue, I'd say heads. If your KR is an issues, then I'd say intercooler.

I say heads as well, but if you do that, I would definatly get the powerlog, or headers for better exhaust flow.

I'm going with intercooler!
I think heads would be in order if you had PEMs or headers, though. Dunno how much heads will give you with stock manifolds.
So my vote is heads/intercooler/headers then.

I Disagree heads would be better in line....from what I gather from the intense folks your heads are limiting you now because of your lift with the IS3 cam.....From what they say they dont even recommend it with stock head..which by your sig i assume you have. a intercooler will let you have a cooler charge but let you flow no more air and to me it sounds like you need more air? Or am I wrong....
IMO if you are going radical (which I think its safe to say you have done a decent amount with your car) intercooler should be one of your last items on mod list...get all your hard parts cam valvtrain heads exhaust intake ported supercharger and teh like taken care of then put the supercharge on with smaller pulleys...heads n cams alone allows for smaller pulleys because of increase airflow right? providing KR is not an issue..

Hmm true... I did not read that on intense's site. You're probably going to get close gains either way. Heads being more expensive and probably harder to install.

Well the thing is the heads doing those you will then want tto do headers because ethose all support each other........all about getting air in and out of the motor efficiently as possible...
