I havent had problems with them melting with mine. I know a lot of guys that dont upgrade the housings. But for piece of mind it might be a good idea.

Hey Guys...when You can, try Sylvania's 9007SU Ultra-White & for the Fog lights 880ST...I was told by the Dealer, that those are the Brightest I could get, without spending over $100.00
Now, I will be Honest...I haven't Try them as of yet, but I will for the summer when I decide to dress-up the GP...they cost about $39. or $49.00 but it's a lot cheaper than $100.00
So, if $100.00 is a bit much right now, You can Try those & let Us know if You like them. I can't Promise You that they will be Blue-ish, but they claim those are pretty Bright (Of course they will Not compare to the "Full HID Kit" with the Ballast)...but, ZZP sells some for like $12.00 - 80/100 watts & so does PFYC for about $39.00 But, personally...I feel that the Sylvanias' at PFYC would be Better.
Or, Check with Your local "Parts Store" to see if they carry those, learn about them & check the price.

I have Silver Stars (ultras aren't worth the $10 for a minimal upgrade over standard) and they probably are the brightest stock lights you can buy.

i kinda have some confusion with the angel eyes. can you use hids with angel eyes? cause I just bought HIDs for my fogs but also like the look of angel eyes.they also have glass lenses I believe so it would be safer than the plastic stockers. so can you use HIDs with angel eyes?
