i just had an alignment done about two weeks ago, i thought it would make my shake go away, but it didnt. it got worse. now when i SLIGHTY turn the wheel left i can feel it shake harder and feel it i n the pedal. it feels like something is loose. tie rods are fresh, both hubs are fresh and there's no rattle over bumps. im gonna have it checked out since im not sure what else it would be. also it pulls to the right again, after the alignment it was straight. anyone have any idea what to look for?

also completely unrelated, when i changed my oil, only 3.5 quarts came out. the pan doesn't leak and the motor only has 40K so i figure the gaskets should be ok. is it normal for it to use that much oil? ive never even checked how much came out before because i always bought the 5 quart jug but this time i used the 1 quarts and realized i had a completely empty one left. and i let it drain til it stops all the way.

any previous accidents you know about? do a carfax... and oil is burned depending on teh way your drive. If you drive rough then more oil will be burned at least to my knowledge.

Not sure where your oil is going. Maybe change your PCV valve.

As for the vibration, I would get the tires inspected and balanced. If they check out OK. I would go to the brakes.

Put the front tires on the back and see what happens. Buddy of mine had a car that would shake like the tires were out of balance and would pull. While under warrentee he had three alignments and a whole new suspension installed and it never fixed it. Turned out one of the tires had separated.

it shakes harder with increased speed until around 50 then smoothes out after that. i thought it would consistently get worse if they needed balanced?

im going to have the guys check it out tomorrow night as i have a new problem too. my abs pumps back at me with the lightest brake touch then within a few brakes turns the trac of and abs light on then the ABS doesn't work anymore. i just replaced a hub a couple weeks ago im gonna have them check to see if the sensor is plugged all the way in. it was really greasy around that area too so that might have part in it.

im lookin to buy a GTP in the western new york area if anyone knows a good one for sale hook me up. they're scarce around here.

I would have them check the rims for true.
I had a bent one and it acted like that.

I have a bushing in the steering system somewhere that has about 1/2 inch of play in it. My steering does the same thing only it sounds like yours is worse. Get under the car and check the bushings on the steering rack to see if any of them have play.

If some one hit the wheel hard enough to knock it out of true then you more then likely have a bad hub on that knuckle as well.
