Back when I was about to do an M90, I had a bunch of stuff powdercoated 3 times (chrome, candy apple, clear) and it ran me $180. Some of you guys might remember the M90 pics of when I had it done, but also the brackets, strut tower brace, and mounts under my hood are the same coat.
I think when you add in different colors and such it ups the price because they have to do a whole seperate batch. They just threw my stuff in with a buncha other stuff getting powdercoated black, so they have low low unit costs, thus the reason for a flat rate of $40.

Don't worry about boost numbers. It's about air in and air out. If you were to decrease your exhaust pipes to 1" you'd see some extreme boost pressures. Worry more about efficiency. The easier the air gets in and the easier the air gets out the much more power you'll make.

He is just restating the fact that the easier the air flows out of the blower then the less amout of boost is "stacking" in the manifold and thus resulting in lower boost numbers.

Look at and drummer and i, for example. We have similar mods, except i have headers. My boost numbers are around 4 psi lower

No, I understood what he was saying, I just don't get who he was saying that to, or why? Did I miss it completely, or did someone ask about boost psi and how it varies?

I'm still confused, but maybe I'm just retarded

Herc was just explaining what causes different boost numbers and why it isn't a big deal.
