I know we got some bikers here...the first thing that went through my mind when i saw this was the anime' "Akira" and Kenada's badazz bike...then I thought if it were black, what a great BatBike it would be!

If I were going for an extreme bike, I'd have to go with the V10:

Completely not bike-related ..

But Akira is an awesome movie. Very advanced for its time, and still pretty top-notch for this day and age, like Ghost in the Shell. The original. None of that new stuff. I'm an older anime fan. smile Didn't realize anyone else here was, but I've drifted from the fandom a bit. My identifying skills are rusty. >.>

Bryant, I couldn't even imagine controlling that bike around curves. Looks like I would just have to go straight. devilgrin

If I recall, the tomahawk was sold to someone, but it was unable to be titled/registered.

EDIT: I just read the article and it does mention that N-M sold 9 replica's for $555k each, unable to be driven on public roads.

One word

Yuck!!!!

The Bat would have one heck of time getting around the city streets on that. He'd be better off on a Goldwing.

Actually thev'e had several tests completed on a couple of auto/cycle shows. Its fron end pivots between the two wheels and is all claim un-touchable cornering. I hear everything sour abouthe four divi's of wheels but imagine balancing all that weight on two tires? Makes a goldwingseem like a pedal bike.

The Suzuki G-Strider uses one of those carrier fork arrangments (I think thats what they call it)...so it probably has a turning circle as good as your V-Star...I think the cruiser-like seating position combined with the sportbike styling looks wicked!...I read today that Suzuki has no plans to produce the G-Strider citing cost issues...but with Honda bringing a 750 powered SuperScooter to market (750 Griffin) it seems unlikely that Suzuki will take that lying down. I hope they bring some version of this bike to market, with 900cc's on tap, I'm willing to bet it'll move like it looks.

speaking of really big scooters (I wonder if the G-Strider is classified as a scoot since it has a CVT auto trans)...I just read on another bike forum that Honda has a new GoldWing model under development that is packing a 2000cc engine and an auto trans...It seems the bike world is increasingly aware that more and more women are riding and Baby Boomers who are getting older still like to ride (and it seems they have the money as well)...but physical age is forcing many rider to look for alternatives to the age old clutch/manual shift...cars went through this evolution years ago until auto trans became standard fare...I guess touring bikes are just the tip of the iceberg.
