So I got the game the day it came out. Haven't stopped playing it. It's sweeeeeet.

In the game, you can purchase an 05 Vibe or 05 GTO. No Grand Prix There is also the Pontiace Sunfire concept car and Pontiac Solstice concept.

You start out with $10k and have to purchase a used car. I went with a Nissan Silvia (best HP for the price) and I totally riced it out. Oil change, new rims, and a HUGE ass spoiler on the back (which is new to this game, and hilarious because it does NOTHING for performance).

I've done about 30 races and gotten my car over 300hp with a stage 2 turbo and many engine upgrades.

This game is just totally awesome. Steering is MUCH better. There is no longer understeer. It's much more fluid. Braking is easier as well, and when you brake hard, the nose of your car dips down.

When you run into another car or object, there still is no damage, but the screen and controllers do vibrate which is disorienting. Besides grass, there is also gravel around the courses, so you can't cheat by going through the grass (like I used to do with GT3).

Everyone should try this game though.

I think I'll be getting my copy sometime real soon.

I'm gonna have to wait on getting mine. I came across a deal on a new Desktop computer that I can't pass up on. I'll finally be able to retire this dinosaur that I have.

well i got teh last copy of GT4 at bestbuy today i come home to play it, and my ps2 wont work(it wont read any disks) so i gotta go get a new one

well i got my new PS2, the game is incredable, I got a 2004 Gto with 611 HP, Everybody NEEDS this game.

Wow, my GTO only has 570 hp so far. Haven't raced enough to get more cash. The GTO is a pretty solid car though.

I NEED to unlock the old Chevelle SS. I really dig the old American cars in the game. Even the Buick.

yeah you mean the one with a 454, ta keep up with teh cars in the one series you need to run that with, you are gonna need some heavy moding, nitrious( upede to a 50 shot) a blower or stage 2 n/a package. and suspension help alot to.

Is there a PC version of the game.

I have my GTO up to 725 hp (just about maxed out).

It was sweet racing through NYC and flying past dodge vipers in the American Hot Rod Race.

And the best part? For winning that series of 3 races I got my Chevy Chevelle:

The guy at the game store told me Forza is due out in early May. He said Forza will knock GT4's socks off.

That guy is right. I just saw a video online for Forza and it will be ten times better than GT4.

But I cannot justify purchasing an XBox just for that one game...especially with Playstation 3 scheduled to come out around Christmas time this year.

GT 4 has a 1970 Chevelle LS6 and the new GTO!?!! that is awesome! I am deffinently going to have to pick this baby up.

Forza?? I wonder if it'll have customizable cars? Otherwise I'm stuck with Project Gotham 2. That game has lots of cool cars just cant modify em.

Lol, I have 2 PS2's at my house, one working, and one not. Some kid gave me his ps2 and said it didnt work, so i tried fixing it, and unfortunately I failed for the first time in a long time. How much would you want for it 2Fast?
