I haven't had the RROD, but I bought the 3 year warranty for something like $60. I think that's a pretty cheap piece of mind.

the RROD has a three year warentee anyways, so I lucked out on that. Just got the box and mailing it back today.

Sorry, this thread got really long and I didn't have the time to read through it all.

I've tried it before, and wasn't that impressed.

Well, let me elaborate. Most of my experience has been on the PC. And on the PC, the only single-player missions are the training (which are enjoyable). After that, everything is 4v4 or 8v8 or whatever multiplayer, which wasn't what I was looking for.

Now, I've played it once or twice on the Xbox, and THAT was fun. The single player missions were a blast.

That game, Army of Two, looks like it could be a big hit on the muli-player stage!

Well I broke down and bought the PS3. Along with Assasins creed. Can't wait for April 15th with the release of GT5

Yea Gran Turismo is probably the one thing I'm going to miss now that I have my 360. Oh well I still have GT4 with the Logitech steering wheel on PS2 if I ever get a craving for a racing game.

Only reason I chose the PS3 over the 360 was for $50 more I got Blue ray and Wifi connection.

I am going to get the Box once my tax return gets here, then if there is anything left, I will get the PCM for my car.

The only thing I am going to miss is Gran Turismo games, but I guess Forza will be good enough.

I enjoyed Forza esp being able to customize the paint. I had some decent flame paint schemes on some of my cars.

Ohh wife brought home Rock Band last night. It's a nice upgrade to Guitar Hero. The drums is more like playing the drums then the guitar is as for the guitar portion.
