I saw they were selling the goodrich ss lines for like 93 shipped. I jumped on the deal and waited the month for them to come in.

When they did I opened it to make sure everything was there and they were right. I saw that I think the front lines were different. I cross checked the model number with there site. Then I checked what was listed for a 98/99, they were different. So the lines I had were for I'm guessing the previous gen gps. I paid for the shipping back and within a week I was only credited 63 back. I called up to find out what was going on and they said because it was opened, I was charged a 30 dollar fee. But yet they want you to open them to make sure all is correct. I then inquired about getting the correct product and they said I would have to pay shipping again for it.

What should I do? I'm out 30 dollars plus the shipping back and no product.

So they package it in a way that you have to open the wrapper to ensure the part is correct? And because it's open you don't get a full refund?

Based on that business practice I'd write that off as a loss and find another vendor to do business with.

kinda, what was throwing me off was the sticker that listed the 97 with the previous gen. I think it was like 94-97 something to that affect. I was thinking that can not be correct so I opened it and it wasn't the same.

try calling the company and threatening to do a chargeback on your credit card, it would be cheaper for them to work out a deal than to deal with the credit card company.

How would doing a charge back work in this situation?

they refunded me 63 of the 93 back... even though i also had to pay shipping back to them

If they do accomodate you I wouldn't do any repeat business with them.

well, there's still the 30 left on the card that you could dispute. just a thought, doesn't hurt to try.
