Looking at the thread title... did the original poster use a pummp that wouldn't let him go past $50 in gas??

I just put $53 in my tank the other day. Rediculous. Time to change those spark plugs!

Yeah, the pump stopped me at $50. I changed the thread title from $40+ to $50 even, pump limitation.

Adjusted for the cost of living? NYC is probably twice as expensive and you probably earn twice as much

I've noticed a few of the stations around here are now charging $0.12 more for premium over mid grade. It always used to be 10 cents, but now they are 12. Just gouging us even more. frown

Yeah you'll see that sometimes, I even seen it back in the day. I always wondered about the 0.10 difference between the three ever since I started driving.

I'd be happy has heck to only pay $3.33. I think we are the 3rd most expensive gas prices right now in the US.

Gas has been steady here for the past two weeks. I can however find it from 3.08 to 3.29 in different locations within a few miles. I paid 3.199 today and filled up with $50.00.

I'm down to a 1/4 tank and saw that gas is 3.43.
But lucky for me, we have gas credit from the grocery store. I can get 3 free fill ups at 50 gallons each. Just waiting for my wife to get low on gas so we could combine tanks and get close to 50 gallons. Does anyone else grocery store offer the same discount. You have to spend over a hundred dollars to get the credit, other wise it's just .10 off a gallon..... laugh
