Well the Reserve Navy's E-7 results are out and well I didn't make it once again. Ohh well there's always next year. Time to throw another "Pass-over" party.

In the Navy to advance from E-6 to E-7 you have to take a test once a year. You have to score high enough to be considered to have your record looked at by a selection board. This only happens once a year. This year there was about 90 people eligible for the board and only 7 were advanced.

I feel your pain Herc. Finally nade Chief in 95, second time up. Retired in 03, was a Boiler Tech. OK, they turned us into Machinest Mates in 96. From what I've seen, it's even harder to pick it up in the reserves. Good luck and keep trying.
