aint it amazing how we work so hard to get a car where we like it (or at least close)...and then we bail and jump on another project.
I have to admit I go thru phases of thinking do I want to continue spending money on this car? But when I go to car shows and see the old classics I know all of those must have gone thru this at some point as well.
I think about everything from radical mods to just making a few more changes...but lucky for me since I bought my Sebring I cant really afford to buy another car so I'm sure the T-Bat will be around for a while longer. At least after I drive the convertible for a week or two, then I get back in the GP and it feels like a rocket by comparison.
I realize the GTO looks good by your viewpoint but you could prolly buy it almost as cheap with a straight sale and keep the GP for a daily driver.
I like the GTO pretty well but not enough to toss my car over...to be honest there is very little out there right now that I really get hot and bothered over. The G8 has grown on me as well as the Charger and the Challenger.
The all black Charger SRT8 Keanu Reeves drove in "Street Kings" was a bad azz unit...but it oughta be for $40k
Bottom line tho...your car, your money...do what turns your crank, just dont be impulsive.
