I never worry about the sound quality on a tv. That's what the surround/home theater set up is for.

get a projector. They are cheaper than TV's now days and you can make them just about as big as you want.

And don't let anyone tell you that you need to get one of those screens, cause you don't. I just have the projector throw on my wall and its painted a coffee color and it comes out great, everyone says so. Or if you like, just put up a white bedsheet, it works the same as one of those screens.

I bought my projector for 500 and it works better (and bigger) than any TV I have seen.

I love my Samsung Series 7 model. It did cost me but well worth it.

Just picked the new tv and its sweet with the ps3. Not so great with std tv but i bet when we get hd channels it will be out of this world. Time to put in a blu ray.
