Where is the coolant drain plug on my '01 Grand Prix? I'm going to do a flush but can't seem to find it. Thanks!

Careful they break easily. I can't remember the exact location but here are some step by step procedures for flushing your coolant.

I think it is on the driver's side. It's a white plastic petcock and as Herc said, they do break easily.

yes they do break really easily, and if they dont when you undo them, they have a tendency to leak... thats why i just pull the bottom hose on the rad... they need a better design for those damn things

Ok maybe I will just pull the bottom hose. Usually I don't pull the hoses because they can be very difficult to get off. A lot of time they get really stuck on the connection and I'm weak! lol

Come to think of it, has anyone changed their bottom radiator hose? I think mine is still the original, it looks like it might be a PITA to change because of the coil packs being in the way. I guess I should look in to doing that one this weekend.

im going to do that when i do a complete tune up.... last thing i want out here is getting stuck in the 115° heat overheating from a cracked hose! We are already touching the 90's
