I was thinking about this while i was driving my GTP today. What is you absolute #1 favorite thing about your Grand Prix? Also what is you least favorite thing about it.


For me my Favorite thing about the car is that the way it just glides so effortlessly down the road. You barely have to touch the gas at all to maintain any speed. Most of the time you can just let the cars momentem take it down the road and you can maintain 45mph for a little while. for example on my road trip to boston last month i was crusin at 70 mph barely touching the gass and the rpm was barely above 1500rpm and i got 34mpg that trip. i love it.


Least favorite thing has to be that the black color shows everything and anything. The black can look amazing but the instant it rains, a small scratch or a bird decides it wants to let one go on it it sticks out like a sore thumb.

my favorite thing, has to be the fact that everyone under estimates these cars! Even though, they are starting to become more recognizable, people still understimate the power and potential of them!

my least favorite thing has to be the age of the car lol. Just because now everything is starting to go and creak more and more, which means more and more money has to be stuck into it..haha

Overall i absolutely love my 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix GT-P!!!!

I like the really nice throttle response, compared to other acuras/fords/hondas/kias/hyundai. My GP is the best, but yes more creeks and squeaks, unoiled bushing, gaskets leaking, doors kinda hanging.. windows dont work sometimes, AC works once in a while... So I think I hate my car when it comes down to it...

I HATE THE PAYMENTS-

best thing- The balance. It's pretty quick, it gets good mileage, it's reliable, it looks pretty good for a stock "grocery getter."
worst thing- The typical GM fit and finish problems. The dash rattles, sometimes i hear creaks and squeaks, the headlights fogging up.

But I still love it!!

I hate it when it doesn't run.

Hate the typical Pontiac electrical issues.

11 years old and 120k miles I don't mind the creaks and squeaks.

That and it's PAID FOR!!!!!

I like the styling of it. I hate the suspension becauseit seems like something always needs tobe fixed.

lol. Must be a classy chick if she gets down over a $2500 Pontiac.

i paid more than $2500 for my car.... more like $5500.

I love the look, the room, comfort, trunk space and the great mileage the car gets for the amount of power it has.

I hate how at not even ten years old it has had so many small repair issues I never had with other cars I've owned...and there are so many more things that still need attention. It comes with age to be sure but I'm getting tot he point I question if I want to spend any more on the car. Time will tell.

I love the interior.

I hate my key getting stuck every single freaking time I turn off the engine. BTW, if you have the same problem, a tire pressure gauge works wonders getting the key out.

Its a love hate relationship at the moment. Hoping with getting a bike and getting a break from her she'll miss me and act right more often.
