so this past weekend i went to visit my brother at Kettering University in Flint Michigan... for the older folks on here, you may remember it as the old GM school... its all engineering students... anyways, two of his roommates have GTO's that they bought brand new off the lot. one is a blue 2005 with blue accent interior, the other is an orange 2006 with black interior... both have the 6.0 litre engine, manual trans, and 18 inch rims... the kid with the blue gto decided to twin turbo it, along with custom exhaust which makes that car roar... its icredibly loud.. cost him 5 grand on top of a 27,000 dollar car and holy balls is that thing fast... i have never ridden in a faster car. he dynoed it right after the install and tune, and it put out 565 rwhp and 516 rwtq at only 5900rpms... i first rode in the orange one and was blown away by how fast it was, but then i rode in the blue one and omg i cant even describe how powerful that vehicle is... saturday hes goin to the track... his next mods are gonna be things to get the maximum amount of power out of the turbos as he can with tires, clutch and what not.. what a sweet car... i had a smile on my face for at least 2 hours after riding in it haha...

heres a picture of the 2 gtos...

There was a twin turbo GTO at ACSV back in Feb. It broke off the line, but it sure did look good.

yeah with his stock tires he does a lot of spinning with just me and him in the car... after that we put 4 people in the car and it started hooking pretty good...

idk how those kids at kettering do it, but there are so many cars at kettering with so much money stuck into them, its insane... unfortunatley alot of them get broken into to... probably because flint is the third dangerous city in the nation lol..

Kettering was heavily trying to recruit me. From what I hear, the education is bar none, but it's too expensive for me to afford.

I made a type error. the 383 will give you 520hp minus the supercharger

my brothers bill is around 30k, but after scholorships and stuff it drops down to around 20k... but, thats in state tuition, if your out of state, 40k is prolly what youd have to pay

My friends (the ones that have the Subarus that I was talking about in another thread) were going to get that turbo setup in their XL Denali, but me, having the S/C and whatnot, convinced them to get a Whipple instead. laugh laugh They are gonna get it put on probably by the end of the summer when they come it with a S/C I/C kit, in one package. It's gonna be pretty rough. I gave myself a nice pat on the back.
Sorry to jack this thread.
