i went to pontiac's site to build a gto just for the heck of it and they dont even have the gto on there site ... are they still maken the new gto

i'm pretty sure 06 was the last year for it

someone told me that GM is going to be doing that with many of their new cars... 2-3 yr runs, then redesign or axe it

something about people liking fresh material

06 was the last year until they get the plant up and running stateside.

Import fees were cutting too deep into the very small profit.

I built a New G37 Infiniti, with all the goodies and like $3,000 down, was like $637 a month! HAHAHA
Yah I think I just saw it was 2006 that GTO is done.

It was supposed to be a two year hiatus but will GM run both the Camaro and GTO? They are slated for the same platform.

The camaro is a done deal. It will take some serious financial issues to kill it now. Way too much money has been put into it to kill it now.

yay... hopefuly they keep the camaro out for a while .. i really want to get one of those ... boy are they sharp .. i like the new camaro over the gto .. but thats just me

we've yet to see what Pontiac version of the Camaro will look like...but Mr Lutz has made it clear there will be no Firebird...the new GTO will be the Camaro sistership...the GTO based on the Holden Manaro from Down Under is out of production.

i herd some people say that the new camaro is a AT and they dont make any manual tranns for the new camaro ... is this true ??? o well they will still be a sweet ride
