Im just getting sick of all of the problems that i am curently having with my gp, im starting to seem like everyone else thats starting to have problems come up, it sucks because i have a dead end job and i can never make enough pay to really help me out, but here is some problems im having.

struts shot
springs sag
pos cv joint
rust in trunk, leaking around pass strut top.
rust under the car
belt shot, only replaced 6 months ago,
2 speakers dont work 1 f 1 r
cat shot
res shot
nasty coolent,

i just have so much work to this, not good, its just frustrating, and i had to get it out

ya i knw exactly what u mean i gotta find a way to replace my rear o2 sensor....cuz my engine light keeps coming back on for it.... banghead mad

man that isnt good i dont have that many problems but i think im suffering enough with a broken tie rod i have less than 2 weeks and my baby will be up and runnin again but im the mean time its allowin me to look for other problems on the car im startin to leak oil

Gotta remember the 97s are now 11 years old and if it was on the initial run could be 12 years old. These types of issues are going to creep up. The price of running an older car.

I don't think so... If it's on a stock system you'll just have to find a wrench big enough to fit on it.

PB Blaster and a 7/8" wrench should do it. You can see the o2 sensor in the stock u-bend here .

ooo ok lol so is it pretty easy to get to? the reason i ask is cuz ive never dealt with exhaust b4 so idk what to expect when i go under

Hey, just wanted to comment...if you want to get out of a dead end job, you should consider hiring on at Pizza Hut. I got a job two years ago as a cook, got promoted to shift manager, and got promoted to asst. manager today. wink And that's without really trying to move really quickly...lol There's lots of room to move up.

for anyone thats familiar with it: is CLP just as effective as PB Blaster? That stuff damn near dissolves carbon and other nastiness from weapons, why not exhaust systems as well?

Hah. CLP on rust? Never gave it a thought. I'd assume it would be as effective though, since it is a penetrating lubricant.
