my friend has a blazer how hard is it to change the water pump it has a vortec v6 in it i think he wants me to change it idk if i want to get into this

If it's anything like my Vortec 5700 the hardest part is getting the dang fan clutch off the pump.

I changed the WP on my '86 S-10 with the 2.8 V6 and don't recall any difficulties.
Dunno if that helps, but I thought I would throw it out.
