My flag touched the ground. Do I need to destroy it?

No. You should, of course, try to avoid having the flag touch the ground. But if it does, you should correct the situation immediately. If the flag has been dirtied, you should clean it by hand with a mild soap solution and dry it well before returning it to use.

How are you supposed to keep a flag that size from touching the ground? lol As long as you don't do it out of disrespect...

But man, I can't WAIT until the airshow in October!!!

i will never disrespect my country but i think it's stupid that you "have to" destroy a flag that touches the ground... it's just some cloth... it's what it stands for that matters, not that it hits the ground

Oceana airshow is in Sept and man do I love going down there.

That vid clip was an awesome opening...those Mustangs roaring around with those musical Merlin V12s singing...almost as stirring as the anthem itself.

Happy 4th everybody...and may God bless allof our valiant man and women who cant be here to celebrate...may they come home to loving families very soon. usa usa usa
