ok, so i got myself thinking. If something happened to your grand prix, what would you buy?

If something happened to mine, i would more than likely buy a GTO or G8.

Something boring with third row seating. My days of "fast" cars are over. Give me something practical (performance is a bonus). Later on I'll do a "fast" car for race duty/show stuff. I've gotten to if I can't push the car to what it's designed to do it's just a waste and trying to make up for other short comings. I'm the same with lifted trucks. If your not gonna use it what's the use?

MKIV Supra in a heart beat. Something already built. SP74 600+whp on low boost. Yep lol. Either way even if I keep the Grand prix as a daily I'm getting an MKIV before I'm 21.

i agree. But some trucks that are lifted just to look good, actually do just really look good. I wouldnt go mudding or anything with a newer ram thats lifted.

thats the other thing to, If my motor or tranny decides to go on me in the near future, I will be picking up a truck and keeping the gp on the back burner for some time.

I heard he blew that turbo on that dyno. It looks like he blew the seals at least. Lot of people say it didn't make those numbers on supra forums.

If I could swing the money, I'd love a Hemi Charger (Daytona or Super Bee) or maybe a Magnum SRT8...both are practical as well as powerful and come with lots of nice "toys"

But a GXP GP or maybe a Monte SS would be more in my price range and still offer the similar usefulness of the GP. An 06-07 GP SE wouldnt be so bad either.

Still cant get myself hyped over a G8 or GTO. I like the G8 better than the Goat but if I were going to spend that level of money I'd go with the Hemi machine.

The wife is about to buy what she wants, a Chevy Traverse/GMC Acadia.
If I could get what I wanted, it would either be a G8 or Cadillac CTS.

If it were, lets say, a project/tinker 2nd vehicle, it would either be an old school beetle (pre 67), late 70's el camino or malibu, or a 70 ford fairlane 500 2dr hardtop. For a daily, I would say a tahoe, not the new body style......

Maybe in 20 years later depend how long I will keep my car.

lol nah time to real man toy. :p I was too young so my parents who got me for summer car as SE model.

When I want mustang few years ago. They says no because of high insurance and young age. I'm disappointed and accept that fact. I wait until I reach age 25 so insurance should go low. Now, I'm 27 but still love my summer car. Oh well thing change I guess. Part of me still love mustang. I mean I was waiting for it when I was kid.

I'd like an '03 Dakota Sport, 4.7L with a full exhaust. My boss's husband has one, burnt orange paint, I love that truck so much.

I also like foxbody that my boss has one. He own it (1985) since brand new. eek

If I wasn't in need of third row seating and I already have the truck I want it would be a CTS or maybe even STS.

duff, why would you settle for an A4? hell, if im gonna for a 4 series audi, im heading right for the bi-turbo v6 s4's!! YUMM lol

he probably did blow the turbo on that dyno chris, but he owns a lot of nail/beauty salons, so im sure it was just chump change to replace it/upgrade. Anyways he has a GTR now thats low 11's or high 10's. I last heard a couple weeks ago that he had the GTR at AMS in chicago getting a full turbo build. My friend was there with his s4, so thats how i heard about that.

Staying far away from reality, 2010 Vauxhall VXR8 Bathurst S! It's completely absurd and seems like tons of fun. The supercharger whine made Jeremy Clarkson refer to it as, "the car that's having a Lady Chatterly crisis".

I also kind of like the 2009 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT. Comfy seats, strong V6 and I like the dual exhausts on the new model.

I also still like the G6 GXP.

I really missed seeing Pontiac at the Richmond car show this year.
