I was just asking which programs or software any of you use for downloading music...I used to have Kaaza Lite on the PC but I'm really not crazy about having another file sharing program...I'm pretty sure that s how that nasty virus got on here last time...I tried YaHoo music engine but you have to buy their service plus pay per song...that seems like double duty to me...for that much money you might as well go buy CDs...I dont mind paying per song, but I dont need all that online radio playlist and such...does Windows Media player have a download function? I've already got WMP9 on my box.

I don't know about the ones you pay for, but what I do is make a list of music that I want and then I download WINMX. As soon as I have all my music I erase WINMX from my computer. I haven't had an problems yet. I also turn my computer off every time i'm done with it.

I will only use Kazaa Lite, Limewire, and Bit Torrent.

I use Bit Torrents but I just got a virus or something last week. So be careful.

WinMx has always worked well for me. I used to use iMesh Lite, but that doesn't seem to work too well anymore. Never really had any problems with viruses either.

I have limewire. The music seems to be pretty clean, but if you try to download any programs, it's virus galore.

Yea, the key is to really look at a file size and compare it to the others before downloading.

I don't even bother with downloading programs. Not worth it.
