You can install the GMPP kit by yourself in 3 hours if you are a decent wrencher. It would help to have another set of hands. The front sway bar and rear can be tricky.

Undo the tie rod ends and the sway bar will almost fall out, just don't go twisting on the tie rods or you'll get your alignment all out of whack.

I have a FWI also, been through some puddles i wish it hadnt have gone thru and it was fine, hsnt bogged out a single time, not even in a carwash with under car blast.

On the GP you can get the filter up higher and if you leave the splash guard in (the plastic fender liner) there is relatively no issues.

That pic is just asking for trouble. I see a rock flinging off tire ripping the filter and...

I think im just going to go with the cone in a segmented area....

I have an intake system in the garage off the blazer. I can cut down to fit the gt. 3" diam pipe should be plenty for her.

need to swap the cheap cone for a K&N or Amsoil though...
