My new commute vehicle can you say 70mpg and fun to boot? I know it's small but gotta start somewhere (new to riding).

Wise decision... for starting out. I've been riding for years and use to race on the WERA circuit a long time ago. I can't tell you how many times I've run across idiots who'd buy a GSXR (or similiar crotch rocket) as their first bike only 'cause they thought they could handle it. I'm sure the real answer was that they are cool and anything else would make them look like noobs. A lot of them ended up pretty damaged if not dead.

My first street bike was a Suzuki TS250 Enduro. I loved that bike even though I'd just about kill it every time I'd try to go highway speeds.

Have fun and ride safe...

Marc

Congrats Hercman, welcome to the world of motorcycles. You'll never want to drive your car again. My CBR600 gets 38mpg, which is why I'll be on it all summer.
