When I was there, Division was right at 30,000. What does surprise me is that Clarksville has grown to 120,000. When I was there, I think it was maybe 60k.

I dealt with base housing for 15 years. The last year and a half have been off base and I don't ever wanna go back on base.

I've found on base spouses have nothing better to do then stick their noses in other peoples business.

From what I found this weekend over the internet, mortgages are a WHOLE lot cheaper than rent out there, and you get MUCH more house when buying. Interesting.

Herc, I've found that out as well, but theres something to be said about not paying rent, utilities, or sanitation.

Ya the utility bills suck but not as bad Nosey Nelly.

Plus if you find a place low enough the BAH can cover it all. My BAH covers my rent and my electric. Water, garbage and gas are another story. But I don't use gas in the summer, the garbage is 40 every three months water runs about 80 a month.
