Speaking of voting... Does any one have a favorite presidential canidate? I'm not big into politics but i'm kinda into it, being this is the first presidential election i'm of age to vote. I personally like John McCain myself. I definately respect the fact that he was a POW and stands by his country. I like most of the points he makes. His only downfall is that he suggests that the "economy" isn't his strong suit, which is what this country is lacking. But the president doesn't necessarily run the country, it's more up to the House and Congress. What do you guys think?

ABH
Anyone But Hillary
McCain has experience at gov, neither democrat has any. Hillary says she does, but I would compare that to letting Bret Favre's wife play QB. Obama is just too new to the gov game.

Honestly I like Huckabee, be he doesn't have enough support. I think Mccain/huckabee are good. Hillary=move to Canada. Obama is acceptable and if a democrat won, i would rather it be him

I'm sorry, but I don't like any of these candidates...give me Bush again anytime. And I'm not even that big of a supported of him anymore...
That being said, I probably won't enter this topic again.

I don't care for any of them too much yet. I like Huckabee but I'm not sure he has good enough experience. I can't stand Clinton because she'll start 1023898x10^83 government programs to spend out money. I've heard some pretty alarming things about Obama. McCain = same government we've had for a long time (also is not conservative... look at his legislation). Romney and Paul I dunno yet. My primary isn't for another month yet anyway.

I dont care for politics because all of them is not worthy of being presidents except Hilary because if she gets it at least Bill Clinton will help Hilary with decisions, etc. I thought Bill Clinton was a very good president even if he was impeached.

...it's sad but people are going to adapt to this global capital exchange to make their money/profits, therefore we are going to get poorer and poorer. The money we use and businesses use need to be recycled within the USA to kick-start the economy. But I guess they have constitutional rights to do whatever they feel outside of our country.

Some of our economic issues now, are results from his decisions back then. Bill was good at playing a crowd, that's pretty much it. Hilary is good at playing a crowd and her husband.

Is it sad that i'm in the army and i really dont care about the election i mean seriously you would think that i would be the most interested since the president is the one that is in charge of my pay raises...maybe it's because in the past when i did care the person i wanted to win never won so go figure....

The smart people are the ones who aren't running. The ones who know better aren't even in politics. The geniuses, the high IQ people, the A students. They know better than to run for president. No matter who it is, there are way to many people to please and it ain't going to happen.

Im hopin for McCain (my Senator) and Obama. Itll be a tough decision for me, but Im leaning more towards my Senator. He's done so much good stuff for my state, Id not vote any other way at this time.

If Rudy was a genius and I agreed with him on every issue, I would still be afraid to have him in the presidency since he lacks federal experience. Oh, and I'm leaning toward McCain now, although I'll still throw my primary vote to Huckabee if he's still on our ballot by then. I just hope once McCain is president, he doesn't screw around with N Vietnam haha!

what in the world does the accidental death of a Police officer have to do with the qualifications of someone running for President? Do you think if one of your co-workers died in an accident at work that it would make you more of a risk on your job?...would it make you less of an employee? If you dont prefer Hillary as a candidate that is your choice but make it a better reason than this. I dont think her stance as a Democrat had anything to do with this officers death. This is exactly what I despise about a political campaign...there is forever so much mud slinging instead of focus on the issues facing our nation. My decision will never be based on who I might "like" as a person...I want someone who can do the job and someone who is going to do what is in the best interests of the majority of the people of this nation...NOT who happen contribute to their campaign. I dont care what any of them say they are ALL guilty of it to some degree.

I was joking by saying, since that guy died in an accident that was involved with the Hilary campaign, that she would be destined to kill us; the people of the US. I believe what you said is all correct, but you took what I said way out of proportion, but hey take it how you want it! BTW: GO MCCAIN!!!!
