I always wonder how to plug in. The house which I understand no problem but what if this person live apt? Like parking lot, 4+ floors parking garage and anywhere that don't have any plug near by? That's tough part. That's neat idea but it might be hard to find where plug is.

Outside is not an issue just run a cord. If your worried about the wet I'm sure some one would find a way to protect it.

Even if you never plug it in the fuel savings over a standard car is still phenominal. It's all about choices and options. Your not tied to one or the other.
