The whole catback? I'd say offer him 75 and negotiate from there. I'd prefer you to have a custom catback made (cheaper then the kits that are sold online)but I can understand if funds are tight and you want that dual exhaust look and the system is in decent shape go for it.

Save up a little bit more and get a better cat back exhaust. It'll be worth it.

Ill probably get a GMPP exhaust in the furture. Should I use a GTP CAT or just keep mine? Is there any difference in CATs?

Get a 3" D/P with a high flow cat, this will also delete your U-bend, if you haven't already.

Well, I think his question was in regards to the SE cat vs. the stock GTP cat, if there would be a performance difference. Personally, I kept the SE cat -- had less wear on it then the donor GTP for my exhaust setup and less risk of being clogged up, etc.

If your planning on later exhaust upgrades this would be a waste of money ,but if your just looking to have dual exaust it's a cheap way to go,but as I see it most guys will want a better flowing and better sounding exhaust eventually why not just get what want and scip the stopgap.

Amen to that Chico...I've found that most local shops fabricate and install custom systems for what you would pay plus shipping for an aftermarket system...why put a stock set-up on the car when you probably wont even want to keep the stock muffs and such...I guess if you have a lift and a nice place to get under your ride maybe its ok to go that route, but I swore off lying on my back and fighting rusty bolts long ago. I go to the local shop and let him torch those suckers.

Its probably going to be awhile b4 I get an aftermarket setup if at all. So I figure just get a dual setup on there now. I might just throw muffs on it and leave it like that.
