wow, even the 2009 sets are "rare" since they have yet to be released (to the USA anyway).

Honestly I start all my auctions (except for a few more rare items) at 99 cents and let the bidders put the price up so its not really the sellers fault sometimes.

So far we've sold about $400 worth of sets and probably have another $400 waiting to be sold but I haven't had anything on eBay for about 2 years. We also have all our loose pieces, about 60 lbs worth, sorted by colors in boxes waiting to be sold.

jaybur, PM me with what sets you might be interested in and I'll see what I can do for ya. wink
Do you have all the original boxes and directions for the sets to? Because I have soooo many legos and I would love to sell them but I don't have any of that stuff =\

We still have the instructions for the majority of them but for the ones we don't we bought them off of Brinklink.com if they were a good deal. Original boxes may get you a few more bucks on eBay but to me they just cost more to ship and aren't worth the extra couple dollars they might get.

So then you just get the instruction manual and get all the pieces for the set and sell them in a bag or something on ebay?

Yea we usually assemble it for the pics and such and disassemble it and put it into bags for shipping. It's easier and cheaper to take them apart.

Sometimes with the larger and more expensive sets we'll take it apart and put it back together twice just to be sure everything's there. So far it's worked, only one set out of the 30 or so we've sold was missing pieces.

All this talk has got me going with this stuff again. I'm gonna be starting to put sets back up on eBay, if anyone here is interested in buying some just let me know and I'll give you a list of what we have.
