GTX package isn't worth the extra money to me. I'd prefer one of the gray Daytonas anyway.

Car looks much better with the GTX rims IMO but a great looking car nonetheless.

It was on eBay before, bidding got up to close to $11,000 but I'm guessing it was nowhere near the seller's reserve the way he talks about it. Nice car but I can't see myself paying probably over $15,000 for it no matter how much of a collectible it is.

I love that car but I wouldn't pay extra money for that package, but it looks nice.

Wow almost 10K for this. I don't see anything different or rare? All I see slp hood and rest are same? I know it is Daytona 500 pace car but that's not worth it to get that if everything are same like normal grand prix.

only about 30 were made GTX daytona, rest were GTP daytona. plus the mileage is way low.

Only 30? wow..... I do remember I seen that at Daytona 500 where Dale Earnhardt Sr won after 20 years. If it is 1998 car then he won that race too. It is really long time ago. I'm big nascar fan and never miss any race since 1997. I love see any Pontiac Grand Prix pace cars. I'm disappointed they are gone. I think 2004+ really kill it. Nascar ask them come back for doing pace car only after leaving nascar as racecars but Pontiac says no.

Dealer Window Sticker = Overhead Console Car (I have origional *two pages)
SPID decal in trunk = Overhead Console Car
SPID = entire Daytona 500 package
Pontiac Records = Overhead Console Car


#704 Car = 100% documented Sunroof Car (have origional users manual in Pontiac labled wrap from the day it was purchased).


Pontiacs production reports list 1,499 Pontiac Grand Prix GT vehicles with the "Gulf Blue" paint job for 1998, but they made 1,500 Pace Car Replicas...

They are missing one and per them, they document it as a console car on their paperwork, but the build sheet says sunroof.

Are all 1998 Pace Car Replica coded this way? If so, odd, but cool. If not, I have a documented 1 of 1.

So you have a sun-roof car that is labled as console?

I don't have a sun roof in mine so I couldn't tell you.

But I wouldn't consider that car a one of one based on a typo.
