I just switched over to ATT today,after Sprint screwing me over for the last time, been with sprint for the past 8 years, and they finally f-ed up big enough to where i said you know what im done, its time to switch, they extended my contract even though its been up for 3 years, they added all these random charges to my bill, and tried to charge me extra for my blackberry data plan, yet i have the blackberry simply everything plan, i sat on the phone with them for 3 hours going back and forth, finally i said im done, went to ATT and i get my new Iphone 3gS on Monday , They had to order it because they are out of stock at every store in michigan.

I'll let everyone know how bad ass this phone really is

*shrug* a phone is a phone IMO. Not worth spending beaucoup bucks on. Plus I hate iphone's, Palm's touch screens are so much better. Pressure instead of heat sensitive.

You've had the blackberry for 4+ years? typically contracts are extended when you get a new phone, unless you purchased it seperately then got it activated.

I purchased the blackberry separate and had it activated, didnt extend my contract. but they just hit me with a 2 year contract this month for no reason so i said screw it, im done. im always having problems with sprint.

I just got the blackberry pearl flip. I like it, but they said I can switch to the curve for free if I want to... anyone know which is better?

Everyone I know who HAD sprint switched for the same reasons. They are shady and have the WORST customer service on this planet! ATT coverage blows, just a warning. IMO the Iphone is over-rated.

yes, i absolutely HATE ATT's coverage! SOOO many dead zones its not even funny!! I honestly dont know why I went back with them a year ago...lol

My next phone will either be through Verizon or US cellular. US Cellular has the BEST coverage in my area. My friend has it and has not one thing to complain about.

I have never had problems with ATT coverage. Only place I lose it is in my work building, but that's my phone more than the ATT network.

You should love your 3gs. I love my 3G and I am NOT an Apple lover. The phone is just so easy to use. My two year old can sit on my lap and play fishing or do some other childrens apps. It's that easy, and yet fun.

I don't know if the Palm is better or not. There are mixed reviews/comparisons depending on what features you want. But the iphone kills all others in terms of apps because of it's popularity.

ATT coverage at my house is WAY better than my sprint phone, my blackberry loses service anywhere in my room, it sucks, i always have to step outside to take a call, and my room is on the second floor of the house.

im happy with sprint. i have never had less that 3 bars in my area. always got a new phone if mine was broken, no questions asked. and never had a dropped call. i dont need a super computer phone anyway, its a waste id you ask me.

I recently bought the blackberry pearl flip phone, and its really cool. The only drawbacks are the battery sux and it needs a full keyboard. The keyboard is better than normal phones, and it guesses what you want to type so theres no need to double and triple tap to get a letter... only problem is when it guesses the wrong words... still wish alltel would start selling the storm...
