Picked this bad boy up last night. 2006 dodge ram 2500 "big rig" 5.9 I6 Cummins turbo-diesel, 6 speed manual, 4x4 Enough torque at idle to let the clutch out and start in 2nd gear lol. (over 600 ft lbs).

Look nice. My half-sister's husband got a brand new truck couple months ago. It does look awesome in person. I believe his truck model is 1500. I see you are staying same color. Good move

Holy crap thats a big truck. Needs some wheels and tires, it sorta looks unproportioned for the engine it has.

Bully Dog, Larger DP & Muffler delete and you have a GTP smoker.
Don't get huge shiny wheels. A 4x4 diesel is a TRUCK, not a wanna be.
IIRC the diesel trucks come with steel wheels and higher load rated tires due to weight of vehicle and what "normal" people buy a diesel for.

I think these are polished aluminum wheels, I'll have to take a closer look. The muffler was removed before I bought it. And the downpipe looks pretty huge. I'll start looking into mods over the next couple of weeks. Definetly "chipping" her for the 150 extra torque and better fuel economy. ("chips" actually do things on diesels lol) Originally posted by 4drgt: way cool, how much did you pick that up for around $26?

And yeah I've been borrowing trucks for too long. Decided it was time. Keeping the grand prix for now though. One of these days I'm going to need to get a quiet/comfortable/non-modded car though... lol
