had it taken to a garage my friend recommend, followed it there then talked with the owner and he said, "I'll try my best, no guarantees." *crosses fingers* shortly after i went to my insurance agency and wanted to have them refund the towing, but since it was in my driveway its not covered, tried to lie and say i had it taken back to my house to work on it but she didnt believe me, said i should have let it there and been towed from there to the shop, that makes no sense. i dont want to take it to a shop if i can fix it myself. what the duce, i cant win at all...

patience, Alex. Hopefully here soon she'll be back on the road. Know that you had tried everything you could and had finally run out of options and possibilities.

Since you say you are "lied" to them so they have a good reason not believe you for not refund for tow it out of your driveway. Sh!t happen. Accept that. Well good luck for repair.

my insurance agent is the best, I give her a scenario, and she tells me the best way to deal with it. she knows her stuff when it comes to the insurance loop holes.
I have had so many different cars so I know her pretty well now, lol.
but if you do not have that kind of relationship with your insurance agent, either ask others first before taking it up with the insurance company, or just deal with what they tell you, its best not to lie to them, in case you need something in the future.
THAT being said, I truly hope it gets resolved with as little $$ as possible, and of course let us know!
I would bet on a wiring issue though, maybe even BCM related if you were sparking the PCM, but time will tell.
