Probably, but maybe not an Accord. Or maybe not one with stock piping.

Just out of curiosity, if you want the diameter, why would you wrap it around the exhaust? I mean, you could figure it out with a math equations, but that's a lot of pointless work when you could just measure across.

Are you looking for the diameter, or the circumference?

Just call up an auto store, ask for pricing on a OEM muffler and then ask them what the inlet and outlet dimensions are, they will tell you.

My computer at work doesn't tell me that.

just put the ruler on the end. Why do you have to wrap it around?

The diameter is the distance across the circle, not around it. So go the the exhaust tip and put the ruler up to it.

if your looking for the circumference, wrap a string around the pipe, then measure the length of the string... but you will need a ruler like drummerboy said

Don't feel too bad about it; anyone can have an off day. The previous owner of my car is a Professor of Criminal Justice; practically a walking, talking encyclopedia. Came by the shop claiming we "broke" his steering wheel. He owned the car six years; never realized it had a tilt steering column... wink
