yeah GM desided to just save the money in converting it to a two door.... and leave it a 4 door and replace the GTO and GP with one. the G8 will be very nice. i personally love the new G6 GXP coupe.

pontiac is comming out with some very apealing cars now, and suprisingly with lots of power.

GTO was based on a two door Monaro. The G8 is based on the four door Commodore. The G8 didn't replace the GTO it replaces the GP and the bonnie. GTO is on hiatus until the CAFE regulations are straightened out.

'Cause it's a photoshopped Holden, shopped to look like a Pontiac for the purpose of the article.

Most of the people that followed the G8 from the beginning will probably remember this pic.

And yeah, the GTO isn't getting replaced, they're reworking the model for future re-release.
