You're right about the screen being the phone, so it will not last as long. But, with my other phones, it would be 3 or 4 days before I would have to charge it. Now, if I go away for a weekend, I have to worry about a phone charger as well. I guess its no big deal, but a little longer life would be nice. Also, as far as making money on batteries, the battery is internal, like an ipod. If the battery takes a dump, your phone is useless. Mac doesn't make money on batteries, only electronics.

I have to admit to being more than a little astonished at the ability of someone to text at the speed they do...my daughter and step daughter both text like a rocket...i can barely type thatfast so I dont even try texting...I think I have sent three texts in the 2yrs i've had my cell phone.

Thats what people say when they see me text.... "how do you text so effin fast?!?!"

I also use Yahoo IM over my phone so that counts to my text usage too.
