There was a pretty big snow storm that rolled through the region tuesday night. (I'm sure some people here got some of it.) Snow and lowered cars dont mix very well. The snow was up past my door sills so getting out of the driveway to get to class was a bit of a challenge. Took me 15 mins to back up 75 feet to get to my street. When I got to school I took a look at my car and there was snow all inside of my rims and my car looked like crap.

Anyone have a similar experience this winter?

2 weeks ago when that big storm came through here over the weekend... my girlfriend lives in a subdivision that rarely gets plowed and it snowed really bad friday night till monday... saturday when i went to her house there was like a foot of snow on her road... i had so much snow packed in my wheels and front axel, that when i got out on the main roads i thought my car was having a seizure... it was vibrating so bad from all the snow in the rims...
i dont really mind the snow or the cold... it was alot worse when i went to school at lake state university in the U.P. i just get annoyed with the people who dont know how to drive in the snow...

It doesn't snow here, at least not enough to stick. It just ices everything over, which is probably worse, since this is Texas and most people don't know how to and aren't sufficiently equipped to drive on ice. Fortunately alot of people are smart enough to stay home when it gets bad, but it's 50/50 with the people that do go ahead and drive. Some drive like the weather is normal and they end up in a ditch, or in the side of another car, hurting someone.

Oh, and when the ice melts, it leaves all manner of crap on your car.

why is NM getting 6'' of snow? There were plenty of people in the ditches. On my way to school yesterday I saw 6-7 cars in the ditch. Some people seem to forget how to drive when it snows.

Hell, I dunno what snow was doin hanging out here, what I do know is that Cali gave us the stuff, skipped AZ altogether, then gave us hell before unleashing itself upon thine butt. What I do know is that it was FLIPPIN cold around here for a good 3-4 weeks. It was still funny to see these ppl doin like 70 on the highway, then see them pointing the opposite direction in the ditch. 'at'll learn 'em.

I work from home if there is a chance of even an inch.

We had a cold spell a few weeks ago..... Snow hit Downtown which doesn't go over well.

i live in winterpeg, we have snow like 8months of the year it seems lol, snow isnt to bad, good drifting, but yeah all cars look like shit in winter, cant clean them up real nice either :\
