Went car shopping with my mom today to find her something to replace her worn Taurus. I was really wanting to get her a GP, but no luck there. However, we stumbled upon a '04 Grand AM GT with 89k miles. It has the Ram Air package and 3400. We're going Friday to pick it up and I'll post some pics then.

I really liked it, but I made sure to check the intake gasket for leaks first thing. If that holds up fine, it should be a good car. The sound of the engine in the cabin sounds great as well. Now the Pink Panther will have a little sister in the driveway.

2/29:
It's raining, so I got a quick pic of it after we got home. I might be able to take more later. Got its big brother in the background.

Right after someone donates me an LS1, T56, a F-body diff, and a welder.

Tim, I think I might be able to sneak some things if she doesn't notice it. The V8 swap might be hard to pull off though... Wonder if my PTuner works on the GA?

It might... wink

I dunno, I can't think about my next car without thinking about what kind of performance it comes with or I can add to it.

Really sad with the gp finally starting to give up the ghost. I dunno how much she's got left in her. devilsad

That is what makes it so difficult to purchase new vehicles. You sit back and look at it and think about what you can do to improve it, and there is no way to be truly happy unless you can modify it.

It's part of the upper grill cut-outs. I'll take some pics of it if it isn't raining tomorrow. It would be neat if we could duplicate it for ours.
