This girl I work with has a 1996 mazda 626 with over 300,000 miles. I did not think its possible to go that far with a car. She lives 2 hours from work.

A guy I work with just rolled 300k on his truck.
Some yay-hoo just turned 2.5mil in his Volvo Coupe not too long ago, with all original drivetrain.

My dad knows a guy with a GP with over 300K miles. I've got a 91 mazda rx-7 I'm working on fixing up with 230K (note: it was running great while I was fixing it up, then recently lost spark. probably the stupid aftermarket MSD ignition crap). Then my friend's family has had at least 3 cars with upper 200K to lower 300K miles.

Watch those rotary engines if you plan on doing anything that results in more horsepower. You'll start blowing apex seals faster than you can rebuild.

I don't expect it to run for too long. A friend of mine has a small garage that focuses on rotary/rx-7 stuff, so I might consider swapping another engine. The cars never been driven in the winter, and it came up from Florida not tooo long ago. I'd love to drop in a LS1 or LSx into it!!! Put in a roll cage, wheelie bars, and turbo/sc and I'd have the ultimate drag car.
